Coppin Bros Products Travel to the Far East
During 2006 the owner of a chain of high class restaurants in the Philippines was complaining to his golf partner that although his chefs could make good Spanish and European sausages they
could not make a first class English breakfast sausage. His golf partner,an Englishman now living in Manila said that he knew the best sausages in England. With in three days the go ahead restaurant owner, Mr Emberto Bravo, had looked at our web site and arranged flights and
accommodation for Paul Coppin and within three weeks Paul was in Manila, with seasonings and recipes teaching the restaurant staff the secrets of our famous sausages. The trip was a great success for both parties and resulted a second trip to reveal the secrets of our traditional cooked hams. English style hams are a Xmas tradition in the Philippines and Mr Bravo was very keen to produce a home cooked ham in his restaurants for sale both in his ‘Grappa’ chain and to other outlets. The hams are now in full production.
Bert Bravo and Paul have become great friends and other ideas are crossing the oceans as this article is being written
